October is Kid's Month at Filosofi

As more parents have been bringing their children and infants in for Network care it has been a great pleasure to have moments in the office where the place is full of kids.  The energy is wonderful when the environment is full of the vibrant, healthy energy of young people who are only here because their parents want them to experience a richer, fuller life.

Often, when a person first comes to our office, we meet a person who has tried many different strategies to deal with a problem without any success.  After we have a chance to work together for a while we get the opportunity to engage them in the process of discovery of who they truly are and how they constructed their tension, their posture and their body to support the quality of the life they are living.

With children, they are only just learning the rules of society, human interaction and the strategies necessary to get along in our culture.  Most of these strategies are learned from their parents, teachers and other role model who have problems and stresses of their own.   As they grow, they learn that things work in certain ways and that they can only expect certain outcomes and a particular quality of life.  It can be very unfortunate when they learn limited adaptive strategies and develop a level of awareness that puts a ceiling on their potential.

When we get the tremendous honour of caring for a person’s child, we get the opportunity to keep them conscious of their bodies and the way they store tension in their muscles, nerves and organs when they are challenged by stresses.  With Network Spinal Analysis we can help them to develop strategies of breath and movement that remove this tension and make them conscious of the thoughts, beliefs and actions that create this tension.  This gives the child a tremendous advantage in their life, learning and happiness.

Unlike adults, children have not been holding postures and tension for years.  The tension has not had a chance to create lasting postural abnormalities, chronic health problems and limited potentials.  This makes it much easier for them see the limitless potential ahead of them and to adapt and thrive in times of challenge be it at home, school or socially.

In line with our vision of a society where people are conscious of the impact they have on the world we would like to increase our impact by expanding the awareness of a new generation.  This October we have dedicated our focus to the care of children.  As such, all children receive a complimentary consultation and initial exam during this month.  Please take the opportunity to enrich the lives of your children and the happiness of your family by taking advantage of this event.

It is a great honour for us to have this role in our community and we look forward to caring for a growing number of children.

Network Spinal Analysis is a tool that uses light touch at specific points on the spine to create a greater awareness of how people use their spinal structure and behaviour to support their physical health, their perspectives and their enjoyment of life.
