| 5 Changes that Will Increase Your Energy |

The state of energy you feel is largely a part of the
way you do things. You have set up everything in
your life to support the state of energy you
experience. Would you like some more energy? Try
out these five simple changes that will impact the
energy in your body.
1. Change your environment
When you set up your surroundings it usually
represents who you are at the time you did it. The
way things are arranged, the colour of the walls and
the placement of key items you love. You are
changing every day. It makes a big difference when
your external environment reflects your internal
environment. Rearrange, paint or reposition things
and observe how different you feel.
2. Change your focus
You always get more of what you focus on. Pay
attention to what you think about all the time. If
you constantly think about all the things that are
going wrong, you will emphasize all that does not
work in your life. If you start to notice and express
gratitude for the good things in your life, the things
that do not work out seem to be part of the process
of getting what you love. Start each day by writing
down five things for which you are grateful. Soon
you find yourself noticing much more of the wonder
in your life and what a difference you will notice in
your energy!
3. Change your state
Your state can range from joyful to depressed and
powerful to weak. Whatever state you are in, you
must breathe, move, think and hold tension in your
body in a way that supports that state. You can tell
if someone is happy or angry just by looking at
them. We create our states; whether it is conscious
or unconscious. One easy way to change your state
is to do something that works your body and involves
concentration. Playing a sport, doing yoga, working
out or running are great ways to change your state.
These things change your breath, movement,
thoughts and tension. If you were in a bad state,
unless you were trying hard to stay that way, usually
it will be gone, ready to be replaced with a state of
your choosing.
4. Do things out of your usual routine
We are creatures of habit and often we find
ourselves caught up in the same thing day after
day. Our routines become so mundane that we are
on autopilot. We don’t even need to think to get
ourselves to work and we can be at home in front of
the TV without even knowing where the day went.
Well, it’s time to shake things up! Do your whole
morning routine backwards. This will take thought.
Take a different route to work. You will do things,
notice things and feel things that you were
completely unaware of before.
5. Get entrained regularly
Regular entrainments (weekly or bi-weekly) will keep
you noticing how your body holds tension, where and
how deeply you can breathe and how you focus
energy in your body. Most people who come in
feeling good and relaxed leave exclaiming that they
had no idea they were so tense! Regular
entrainments teach you to become even more
sensitive to how and why you store tension in your
body. You will then be able to get rid of tension
before it gets into you and keep all of your energy
flowing and available.
Make some of these changes today and feel the
difference. It is really quite fun and it adds a little
variety to an otherwise average day. Be careful
though; you might find yourself getting hooked and
turning your average days into great days every day!

This Christmas Filosofi Holistic Health Centre will be
adopting two families for Christmas.
Help Filosofi create a wonderful Christmas for two
families by making a monetary donation. Donations
can be made at the office during Chiropractic hours
and the money will be used to provide food and gifts
for the two families.
