Robin Sharma’s e-newsletter landed in my inbox as I
was preparing this newsletter and I thought his
message was simple, yet relevant. He says “The
place where your greatest fears live is also the place
where your greatest growth lies.” He is suggesting
that by doing the things you are afraid to do, you
can accomplish greatness.
What I would like to add is that your fears live in
your body anchored to tension that builds up every
time you avoid that fear. These anchors wall off and
separate a part of you that contains the wisdom and
secrets to unleashing your potential.
In fact, your body is so smart that it actually tells
you to look in your protected, sequestered areas of
tension for the answers to your problems. Ever
notice that when you are challenged or stressed,
part of your body hurts or calls your attention?
That’s the part of your body-mind that you can
either use to ignore the right choice or make the
choice that creates a new future.
The next time you feel some pain ask yourself “What
is my body trying to tell me?” The first answer is
usually “I don’t know.” Don’t believe it. You know.
Put your hands on the area that hurts and breathe
into it for several minutes. Let your mind clear and
see if a new idea pops up.
Could you try an altogether new solution to an old
problem? Has this old problem been a signpost that
you’ve been ignoring? Is your body giving you a
wake up call before it gets too late?
Network Spinal Analysis can help you develop a new
awareness of your body so you can release these
anchors and face the fears. Network entrainments
can help you see that your wounds, these anchors,
contain the fuel for your healing. By exploring your
body and finding the anchors to your fears, you can
really unleash your potential.
