  • The Beauty of Putting Yourself First

Have you ever agreed to do something for someone even though you did not want to? How about putting yourself out to accommodate another person? Or even giving up something of your own, sacrificing your enjoyment and using up your energy to please someone else?

I have to admit that I was brought up to believe that being selfish was wrong. We are taught to share, cooperate and play well together even when we don’t want to or even like the people we’re with. Carry this forward a few decades and we find ourselves pretending to like people, taking on responsibilities when we have no time to complete our own and taking care of ourselves if and only if everyone else has been taken care of.

    The Buzz

We’re back and ready to get the fall started off right!

Don’t think we’ve been slacking this summer. We have held many Healing Process Workshops, revamped the reception and waiting area, treated our first WIN DINNER FOR TWO winner, Vera Pimneva and guest Lilia, to a delightful evening of haute cuisine, ambience, and wine.

Also this summer we traveled across the globe for our theme days. In June we held a Mexican Fiesta. July we hosted a Greek Toga Party; and in August (thanks to Nicole for the suggestion) a French themed day with baguettes and brie. Brazilian Day is coming up soon. You don’t want to miss it.
